# 1. What is your profile link? Please place it in your signature. (Not optional) # 2. How active do you expect to be in-game? On the forum? A. Very active = online daily or more B. Fairly active = online 3-5 times weekly C. Less active = online 1-2 times weekly # 3. What role would you like? Healer, combat, etc. # 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area? # 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD? # 6. How did you come to join DHPD? 1: www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=503382: A - Very active I tend to play most days. 3: Elam has all survivor skills. Any role is acceptable, though I guess I prefer a variety rather than complete specialization. 4: Either is fine. 5: Nope 6: I wanted to join a survivor group so I could actually play the game in an organized way and help actually achieve some in game goals rather than just running around randomly helping to fight off break-ins and hoping a PK doesn't kill me. I hate PKs.

Hey
Welcome aboard
someone should be online shortly to upgrade you to omega squad
in the mean time, could you put 'Dunell Hills Police Department' in your group(without the quote marks, and not the number of ns and ls)
could you also put your ID in your signiture as it makes it easier for us to revive you and other things
once again welcome aboard

psst- nobody tell him that by joining our group he gets a 5X chance of being PK'd! welcome to the crew. Where have you been before us? That's an awful low id number to just be pitching around freelance the whole time

I started playing quite a while ago back when things were a lot less organized all around. I actually started out one of the earlier attempts to organize revives on the original forums.
It is kind of fun actually, looking back at some of the things I remember which are now historical events. I participated in a couple of the original Caiger mall sieges, and I also remember DARIS and The Many from when I used to play.
I eventually gave up on the game for quite a while though and only recently started playing again. As you say, that is a long time for me to go it alone, and the game got pretty boring after a while, especially after my friends gave up on it. So, I decided to try it again as part of a group for a new angle to things.
I haven't ever really gotten into a group before this. As for the PK thing, it's not like they wouldn't try to kill me anyway, and as a part of a group, there is the satisfaction of having a good chance of returning the favor afterward.

oh, don't you worry about having the favor returned. Delta is extremely good at that.

Hi Elam
I've upgraded your status to recruit and assigned you to Omega Squad. This is our training squad which may seem a little odd given your character's experience. It's partly a security measure and partly a way to give you some experience with the workings of the department. You should now be able to see the Police Academy board and in that you'll find the Omega Ops thread where t he squad get orders and keep in touch. Dr Sy N Tist is your squad leader.
There's also a Departmental Handbook sub-board which contains details of our legal procedures and so forth.
Welcome on board.
