Greetings all! I'd like to apply for membership in the DHPD. This is my first Urban Dead character and I'm enjoying it so far, but this surviving business is looking like a team sport. Name: Daniel Heyward 1) urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=18425622) I usually make one big push every day or so, with a few check-ins if the zombies are close to see if I need to run. 3) Looking to someday be a big-shot gunslinger! 4) I'd like to travel once I get a little stronger. 5) No contact with other groups. 6) Funny story on this one. So I'm still learning the ropes, got knocked around a bit, infected, running for a hospital with low HP in hopes of a lucky search and a medkit. But the free-runner entry point is way downfield, and I have just enough time to skid to a 1 HP stop at the hospital and beg for some help. As it happened... help arrived big time in the form of several generous DHPD officers. When the cavalry arrives like that, it's a pretty easy choice. I enjoy the RP side of things as well, so I'm looking forwards to it. Thanks! - Dan

An admin will be along shortly to upgrade your status and assist you with getting assigned to a training Squad. In the interim, please add your profile link to your signature line so we can easily identify you in game, at all times. Also, please add "Dunell Hills Police Department" (With out the quotes and as you see written, please do not add any thing else to it, also mind the number of N's, L's and Capital letters) in your group tag. This will properly identify you as a member of the Department. Lastly, welcome aboard! Coffee on the left, Donuts to the right, Badges can be picked up in the basement.

Thanks! - Dan Sorry for the brevity of this welcome message, but I've got a lot on my plate tonight and I wanted to get your permissions upgraded so you could see more of the board and report to the Police Academy for training. You've been assigned to Omega Squad as a recruit.

welcome Edmundpost. Again, i've got a ton of RL work that I'm buried under, so you get the short end of the stick as far as welcome messages go.
I've upgraded your forum permissions to allow you access to more of the board. You have been assigned to Omega Squad as a recruit. You will find the relevant threads in the Police Academy sub forum that you should now have access to!

1. www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=18484282. A/B 3. I like the sound of Ghost squad. I like it a lot. Once I have the experience ofcourse. 4. Travelling with a base of operations like the DMZ sounds good. 5. No other groups, I just started out. 6. I found out through flicking through the UD Wiki, the group seems like it'd be fun, plus, very well organized. By the way I'm in GMT timezone, just as an extra note.

Good choice Teller and welcome. This game, even as simple as it is, takes on a whole new feel and level of enjoyment when played with a friendly, active and organized group. A testament to this is the fact that many of our most active players are 4-5 year vets, this is a great group of folks If you have any questions (particularly about Ghost Squad) feel free to PM me, or ask in the Omega threads. You'll get your answers in short order. Again welcome to the DHPD, coffee on the left, donuts on the right, badges in the basement.

* 1. What is your profile link? Please place it in your signature. (Not optional) www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=941919 * 2. How active do you expect to be in-game? On the forum? F. Impossibly active = I will be truly omnipresent. * 3. What role would you like? Healer, combat, etc. Chief Overlord Commisioner would suit my level of prestige and talent. * 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area? Wash them, and bring them to me. * 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD? In a truly spiritual sense, I have contact with every person on the internet. * 6. How did you come to join DHPD? I was made corporeal through a combination of voodoo and Jamie Oliver cookery.
