Hi deadly104
Welcome to the DHPD, can you make sure your UD profile link is in your sig. I'm sorry not to be able to upgrade you to recruit immediately, but there are a couple of things I need to check out. I'll get back to you ASAP.

spend 30 days in Omega and then they (leadership) will decide on if you fit with the group or not. Prove to them you are active and cooperative and you will be in. simple as that friend Report to the Police Academy section and post in the {SQUAD} Omega Ops thread - below is a link right to it. dhpdforums.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pa&action=display&thread=108&page=172You will find the mission goals under the Current Orders: Omega thread, but we chat/discuss our mission in the linked thread above. Also, if you find yourself dead, post a revive request under the All Points Bulletin section under the Code 9: Officer Down thread. Make sure to update that thread once you receive a revive too, or you will just waste others AP while they search for you. This should come off as explanatory or educational, not snotty or demanding. Not sure how it sounds but it is meant in a friendly tone. I am super tired, so apologies in advance if it does sound snotty. If you need help locating our exact spot, notify us in that omega thread and I will post it. Otherwise you can find it a couple pages back.

He's gotta be updated to recruit status before he can do those things... The process is delayed at current, but if you can post from your house rather than Deadly's we should be right and we can look to getting you upgraded.

Hi DHPD. Cadet Jackboot Johnny reporting in! I've been playing a zombie character since September 2005 and thoroughly enjoy it but I want to experience the life of a survivor. Yes, this is my first survivor character that I've committed to for about 3 years. The DHPD feels like a damn fine place to be involved with. Looking forward to enforcing the law of "All citizens must breathe". Don't worry, my Z won't be anywhere near the DHPD. Not a fan of that kind of behaviour. # 1. urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1558884# 2. How active do you expect to be in-game? On the forum? A. Very active = online daily or more B. Fairly active = online 3-5 times weekly C. Less active = online 1-2 times weekly Answer: A. At least once a day, but I check the game every couple of hours when I'm at home. # 3. What role would you like? Healer, combat, etc. I'm not sure at this point. I'd like to apprehend rotters and show them the door, but healing sounds fun too and maybe more dynamic. What do you fellas/gals need most at the mo? # 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area? Whatever's needed, but I really enjoy staying in one place because you can keep your finger on the pulse so effectively. # 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD? The Banana Gangbangers. I was in the RRF for a couple of years, as DOHS and then a feral RRF memeber, and tried to join some other clans, but they were mostly newbies and didn't know their elbow from their gun-holster when it came to tactics. So I formed my own with my buddy and we take care of business! # 6. How did you come to join DHPD? A nice fella saw me holled up in a secured building, just waiting to be eaten and directed me north to the DHPD. Didn't know what he meant, so I looked around on forums and found you fellas were stationed north of Molebank and boom. Here I am. Mount up! - Jackboot Johnny

Hi Johnny
I've upgraded you to Recruit and put you in Omega Squad, which is our training squad. Your squad leader is Sanpedro. You should be able to see the Police Academy board and you'll find an Omega Ops thread there containing current orders. I recommend you go and introduce yourself. I'd also recommend you think about buying Free Running with your next 100 XP. Can you put a link to your UD Profile in your signature here, it'll help revivers find you. Lastly you'll also see a Departmental Handbook sub-board of the Police Academy. You may want to check it out for an overview of our policies and procedures.
Welcome on board Purple Cat
