Again gunned down by anti-DHPD'ers... this one by name of Duke D'oeuvre... he had an accomplice but I was unable to get their name at the time. Keep alert officers, there's some bad blood out there.

These seem rather incompetent PKers. No idea why they are gunning down random people and complaining about the DHPD in Shuttlebank. Maybe they're too scared to actually take us on themselves. Anyway we know Duke D'Oeuvre and Lord Curton's Gentleman's Hunting Club. They were in the Hills a few weeks back but they're a small enough group that they didn't make much difference to the general PK level we experience. Not as offensive as the hood ni66ers but still the kind of group that it's best just to ignore (i.e. treat no differently to any other PKer) until they get bored and go away.

Well, hello there. Sounds like someone is disappointed in our level of service? Well, you're not the only ones:
I wish to register a complaint! Your group claims to be opposed to tyranny, and has approriated a famous anarchist slogan. Yet you also claims my own Hunting Club to be a "terrorist organisation" by virtue of authority derived from your origin as this suburb's Police Department pre-Malton Event, thus clearly establishing yourselves as akin to the very tyrants you claim to oppose!
Please, explain this apparent contradiction to me.

We are NOT the pre-event PD. (http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Dunell_Hills_Police_Department/Department_of_The_Commissioner). we were formed by a group of random survivors that took up the DHPD mantle after finding a box of badges in a PD. So, whatever connection you were trying to make is instantly moot. man, the world would be such a better place if people decided to do research and read up on a subject before opening their mouth or espousing their opinion on something they know little or nothing about. owned. go back to your two-bit mickey mouse operation in which you kill in our name because your name is garbage and you realize you'll never have the weight or numbers that we have.

Please, explain this apparent contradiction to me. As BD says we claim no authority based on our origins. Nor have we ever made any pro-anarchist statements (except for Gabby). We seek to maintain order, as best we may, in a small area of Malton. To do so we have a set of clearly published laws which we enforce but which also limit our own behaviour. These laws, as far as we can tell, best allow us to achieve our aims without falling into an arbitrary tyranny in which whatever action we chose to take in any given situation is automatically considered internally to be "right". The rules are open to debate and your terrorist status is open to appeal although, given the fundamentally opposed ideologies of our two groups, I do not off-hand see how any accommodation could be reached. We look forward to hunting the members of Lord Curton's Hunting Club and being hunted in return should you ever choose to revisit our area of Malton.

Purple Cat: Ah. Apparently I was misled by the use of the phrase Sic Semper Tyrannis by some of your membership, which I found highly ironic. I have no intent of appealing any proclamation of your corrupt organisation. Indeed, we will wear this status as a badge of honour. Thank you for your words showing sporting sense. Should we encounter your organisation in our travels, we will bear them in mind. BD: Your origin page (you should really learn to use hypertext, by the way) indeed indicates that you appropriated your department's badges from a police station, thus connecting you symbolically to the old order imposed on this city by the hand of long-dead men with laughably outdated notions. You also issue "warrants" – from what source does your authority derive, if not the moral authority claimed from your taking up the trappings of the police, that tool of state oppression? Speaking of irony… no. Too easy. (Also, declaring oneself to have won an argument is the height of arrogance and proves nothing. Very poor form. Kindly leave the debate to your superiors, there's a good fellow.) Edit:I am unaware of the incident of which you speak. Care to elaborate?

it's the internet- i know there's no amount of common sense or logic that will get through your monitor to you, even if it somehow smacked you in the face.
quit polluting our boards and be on your merry.

Ah, that would be ad hominem. Thank you for further proving my point.
I will await reply to my questions before deciding on a continued course of action.

Pssst... don't worry about the state oppression thing. I'm going to overthrow them soon. You didn't hear it from me.*raises collar and puts on sunglasses*

Yes, some of us find it ironic, and others find it offensive. Unfortunately these things tend to gain a kind of traction and no one can agree on an alterative they prefer. That said the sentiment itself, devoid of surrounding context, is not entirely inappropriate for our perception of what we do. PM'd you to explain context.

In that case, I believe everything has been answered to my satisfaction. Fare well; until we meet again. If you need any help with the revolution, comrade, I am sure that we can arrange a bake sale… if you know what I mean.
