Does someone have a reliable means of contacting Kevan (looks at Conn?). This is so extreme I'd have thought he might be prepared to simply intervene and block those accounts.

Traditionally I think Kevan ignores zerg reports from the public in the interest of impartiality... but yeah, this one is so blatant I can't imagine him passing it over. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he picks them up via his own methods. I'd bet these characters will simply disappear within a few days. |

Just curious, since I don't pay attention to the little treaties and pacts and pinkie swears you dam survivors make with each other, but is Hard Knock Life one of your little playmate groups? If there's more then 1 active at a time, it's a lot less likely to be one person controlling all these pricks. It's possible to have multiple windows open and switch, but you'd need to be pretty damn quick to do it. Even if it's more than 1 or 2 persons, it still smells like zerging. |

Alright DCC I prefer to ignore this thread and The Dead's existence entirely. I like to think of them as just any old zombies.
But these accusations of HKL zerging have gone on for long enough.
In the face of good sportsmanship I do not use my SA account to view The Dead's Urban Dead thread, but I have an unbiased friend of mine periodically check it to make sure The Dead haven't been doing anything they're not supposed to. He does not inform me of any new orders or anything of the sort. I've been referred to as a lurker as well, and this is just simply not the case. I have no reason to metagame spy.
But I'll get to the point of why I'm making this post now.
Multiple members of The Dead seem to have it in their minds that I'm some sort of Master Zerger running every character in HKL and the only evidence they seem to have of this is my reporting PKs on us on the Brainstock Rogues Gallery. I report any and all PKs on Hard Knock Life to save my guys the stress of having to register an account and do it themselves.
Then their next piece of evidence appears to be how we coordinate. I assure you our main form of communication is not forums but active chat! That's how we get 5+ people responding to break-ins. We're just really coordinated and focus our efforts.
Lastly allow me to thank you guys for giving us such a challenge. It's been a pleasure working against you despite the accusations.
I hope this clears things up.

Someone thinks you are a zerger? We Don't Care. (we can only report zerg characters. Kevan has to look them up or ignore them as he usually does)
You don't meta game spy? We Don't Care. (Our orders consist of Hey Guys - Drury is open. Here's who is inside. Let's Kill Marty.) Not much in the way of trade secrets there.
You have an excuse for how the characters were coordinated so well? We Don't Care. (We coordinate well because there are like 200 of us online almost 24 hours a day. We know the power of IRC.)
Seriously, we don't care. If we did it would be The March of the Dead all over again, but we can't even be arsed to hold a recruitment drive.
And to DHPDers regarding the News. You could put something in there about launching an investigation to deal with this unsportsmenlike behavior so that you can resume your normal activities of reclaiming DH. Geez, you are supposed to be a Police Dept. Do some investigating! Or at least make the tax payers think you are.

I was quite worried that someone would attempt to ruin the reputation of the group. All these accusations of zerging flying around was making me rather uncomfortable. And I really Don't Care that They Don't Care. All I Care about is making sure my group maintains the reputation I'd like them to maintain. In fact if They Care so little why do they bother to even so much as publicly state their thoughts on my group and their so-called zerging activities? I'm not seeing any consistencies here in the ways of Not Caring. Regardless, thanks for your reply. I will go back to Not Caring about The Dead and continue to treat them like any old zombies.
