Resistance is Futile... Gabe pull her out of the basement before I pummel you mercilessly... PS: DCC... it's time to put on the last uniform you'll ever wear... I'm just racking up one cliche after another...

Also, i'm so used to not reading this board that it might take me a bit to actually read it. (if that makes sense). I used to avoid it because i didn't want to meta-game or forum spy .

So, uhh, hi? Where the hell have I been?
If you don't read the wiki (and you shouldn't - it's crap) you might not know what was going on... I'll try to catch you up to speed.
Last month, I got really pissed and revealed that I was indeed also Nubis and had been for quite some time. I did actually enjoy editing the wiki as Nubis (not for the sysopy stuff, but in doing the routine chores and cleaning things up). It was a nice way to fill in some down time. I thought I was doing a good job as Nubis, but people got all pissy about "account security" and BS like that...
Well, as Nubis I didn't really spend much time playing (as DCC or Nubis) so I fell off the grid. I would log in to check on changes and map stuff, but no real game play.
For the last week I was in Sweden for vacation and just got back to the US yesterday.
I don't know how much I will be playing, but I do have more down time coming up so I may play again.
Trust me, it wasn't me going back to the Goons, it was me getting a "life". I don't know if I liked having this "life" but it was a nice change of pace.
So, in the spirit of "ask me anything" if you want to know about the whole Nubis/DCC affair post here. I'll try to answer. If Conndraka reads this board I did want to tell him, but thought I should keep it all under wraps.
So, hi!

Funnily enough I just found that argument on the wiki (Nubis' talk page specifically). I think it was a link off someone's signature, Anime Sucks or someone like that. I lol'd. There's a few good eggs on the wiki I appreciate, but there's also a lot of power-hungry pathetic people who make things difficult.
Welcome back. If you're interested in getting back to cop life, send myself or BD a PM and we'll boost your access.

Sweden was beautiful and every picture I took could be a postcard! It was green and quaint, and BORING AS HELL. It was overcast and got dark at 4 pm. There was nothing to do there after the tourist stuff (which is shopping and taking postcardesque pictures).
There were more 7-11s in that little area we stayed in than there are in St. Louis. Razi, where the hell is a 7-11 here? South city maybe?
There were school field trips everywhere we went and it was like walking into Village of the Damned. Blonde haired children everywhere.
It seems all they do is breed there. We were constantly avoiding packs of mothers with strollers.
Even the gang grafitti was boring- the best one I saw said Jesus is Fat. Glad to be in the USA again!

I'm pretty sure they're all in south city and Arnold. There's one a couple blocks from my new place in Benton Park, in fact.
Were you there with school or the family? Not having to deal with teachers/parents means you can usually hit the bars. At least, that was my experience with Germany.
Also, I hope you weren't rooting for the Cards this season. The Dodgers of all teams hung them out to dry.

At least, that was my experience with Germany. Just because we're rather smaller than the States, doesn't mean we're all the same.
