Hello. I decided to retire my old zombie multi and trade him in for a brand new character. Behold: www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1542873I was planning to build him as a healer/reviver, and I feel kind of bad for having just left everyone here. How about a new Peon with aspirations of joining Dixie? Or would that be considered multi abuse since my main is part of a group which may eventually work with the DHPD? Of course, I could just have one character head off elsewhere if our groups worked together. Anyhow, let me know.

that's kind of a sticky subject. i'm not quite sure what the rules would be on that. perhaps one of the old-timers could chime in.

I would be perfectly all right with this, as long as if when your group came to town your Elam character stayed out of the DMZ-- but I'd like others to weigh in with what they think.

you know what, i read the post wrong the first time through. As ian stated, if your group decided to travel to the DMZ, the DHPD character would get precedence in the area. If you can do that, then welcome back

Yeah, there's no problems having characters in Allies as long as working the DMZ is rare, and characters don't interact. So you'll be sweet.

Sounds good then.
If you want to set my status to recruit, I will send him to the hills.

Delta could always take you back One favour I will ask. I think you're cool, so you won't be an ass on the boards, but when you're talking as "Elam", could you sign your posts as such, or make it clear? In the past allies with officer alts have confused me with that. I'm easily confused.

I'd suggest getting 2 accounts, to ensure there's no confusion and enforce the separation.
I don't know if he'll be able to go straight back to Delta - the new character is level 2 after all. I'll leave it for the uppers to decide, but I think running for a while with Omega might be needed, to boost some levels until he's equipped.

Done.
I now have separate accounts for each so there is no confusion.
As for the starting camp, I have to agree with Sy on it. Going through Omega again makes sense since this is a brand new character.
Also, while Delta was fun at times, a lot of the time it was just a lot of walking around and finding nothing.
I am planning to build this character as a healer/barricade builder/reviver.
So, once he is up to speed, I would like to give Dixie a try.

That's cool Dixie could do with a few new members, I'm sure they'd be glad to have you

Upgraded your status (I'll jump you straight to Officer since you've graduated in the past) and thrown on some Omega tags. Welcome back, Rook.

Karma for being helpful and making a new account and also for aiming at Dixie, it's great. *avoids temptation to smite for the Delta remark - we always find stuff, at least in our heads*
