Thank you for the compliments, but most importantly thanks for keeping East Becktown in working order. We've had reduced activity levels on par with Urban Dead in general and our mission has had to focus more closely on smaller areas. It's good to know there is an active group just on our borders keeping the zeds in check.

Just wanted to offer a very big, sincere thank you to Damien Laplant for spending the last five or six days across in East Becktown helping my small, rag tag group of survivors keep the 'burb from falling apart.
If the DHPD offers any kind of recognition or commendations for jobs well done, I would like to put Damien forward for his distinguished work. He is a credit to the uniform and the Department.
If any DHPD officers ever find themselves in East Becktown feel free to let me know and my group and I will extend to you our warm hospitality and local intelligence reports.

i've upgraded your access, so you should be able to see more of the forum now. check out our out of character section and intro yourself to the rest of the group, then call past the op's thread in the briefing room to see where we are at.
we've just changed our recruitment process - new folk used to get assigned an instructor, and stay within the police academy areas when they started, but, as the game has shrunk, we've decided to skip this step. this means that you will be an officer from the outset, but does not mean that you shouldn't be asking questions around anything - we're here to help!
lastly, can you please add Dunell Hills Police Department as your group in your in game profile?

I refulled a genny at a local police station while resupplying on guns, one of your members thanked me and also there was some shoot out and someone got killed on a DHPD warrant. Sorry for the late reply - I don't know how I missed this earlier.
I think our hands are a little tied with making sure everything stays up and running in the Hills at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few came over to help out either.
I'll try and give an update if any big changes happen on that decision.

Hello again my DHPD friends!
So, I have recently formed a three man team in East Becktown to help protect and maintain the TRPs there. We have quickly encountered a problem though from a zombie group calling themselves the Daubeney Resident Zambahz:

The DRZ have taken over and ruined one of the NT Buildings in East Becktown, namely the Daubeney Building:

Our little fledgling group in East Becktown is sorely lacking in the muscle department and we are unable to remove the three (known) members of the DRZ from the Daubeney Building:

Okay, so I've shuffled over to the Pullin Square RP in West Becktown and run out of APs. Hopefully a kindly soul will wander by in the next twenty four hours to jab me with a revive. I noticed that my nemesis, the vile zombie Hildred ( urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=2084155) was indeed the one who killed me yesterday. He's currently stood outside the Hardstaff Bank, which is lit and at VSB. I assume he'll attempt to penetrate the bank and ransack/ruin the place again! |

I assume that Hildred took me down. I knew I'd get killed doing this!
I'll be over at the Pullin Square RP in West Becktown in approx. eight hours if anyone is around to jab me with a revive needle!

Guys, thank you so much for your help. Okay, so I've tossed Hildred out of the building, secured the doors, hooked up the genny and fuelled it...only to find that the cost of repairing the ruins was 91 AP!!! I've paid the AP and I'm now down to -51 AP! So, if anyone is still in the area and wants to actually get the barricades up in the Hardstaff Bank it would probably make my sacrifice worthwhile. Thanks again for responding to my request so promptly. I might have to consider signing up and joining the DHPD! |

Hi,
Anyone in or around West Becktown who can lend a hand?
For some time a zombie called Hildred (ID=2084155) has occupied a ruined building, Hardstaff Bank (17,33). I have the toolbox, generator and fuel can needed to get the building back on her feet again...but I'm having trouble getting Hildred out of there!
If anyone is in the area please feel free to visit Hardstaff Bank and fill Hildred with any hot lead they can spare!
