You are on your own with the SW. I had the worst time keeping it red when I was leading the Dead!
Each suburb down there has like a million NTs. It's ridiculous. The malls are within a day's AP of each other. Unless the survivors have their heads up their collective asses (or maybe in some kind of daisy chain formation) the SW shouldn't go red.
Unless 2 hordes of 700+ zombies are attacking it
I could send Stray Dog Pack down there. I think he is in Griggs.
