We've traditionally followed the counterpoint barricading plan, as opposed to the more common DD plan - wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Counterpoint_Barricading_Strategy - which would work well if you are working with a lot of new folk. under times of siege - i.e. most of the past year, we lift cades to higher levels, but generally try to be as newbie friendly as possible.
These plans are in effect over the whole of the DMZ, but, as Bryn mentioned, we are all very much bunkered down in the hills atm, fighting with the dead - so go mad and cade as you see fit.
