If you're a new player looking to get your feet wet in malton by tagging along with a survivor group or if you're a seasoned veteran of Malton and are looking for a change, then the DHPD might be for you.
Further information can be found in the Department Handbook to help you decide if DHPD is right for you.
First a little background. DHPD is a large survivor group of roughly 50 active members according to the UD Statistics page. We operate in six suburbs dubbed the DMZ (Dunell Military Zone). We have kept officers in most of the resource buildings in this area at one point or another and with a few exceptions we do not 'claim' any of them as ours. Fair play is expected and we do not allow multiple characters in DHPD, but we do have ALT Groups in other areas of Malton. We have positions available for all activity levels and roles in our squads and precincts. We hope you come to enjoy this group as much as we do, many of us have been playing for over two years and stick around because of our friends here. Feel free to ask questions on the board or in PM's.
To join:
1. Register for the forum and make an introductory post in the public recruitment section of the forum to say hello
(include your name in the title, i.e. FmrPFCBob reporting/wants to join/etc)
2. Once your account is validated your thread will be moved to the internal Introductions board.
3. From here you will be given access to the recruit section, with most areas of the forum available to you. We have an Academy (still in the process of being introduced) for new recruits who want to get stuck in straight away, which also has the added focus of guiding players new to Urban Dead and helping them get much needed XP early on in their career as a survivor.
4. Once you've stuck around for a bit and proven your commitment, you'll be upgraded to officer status which allows access to the squad boards and other operations intel.
Help us to suit your needs by answering the following short questionaire ... with the exception of #1 this is all OPTIONAL.
