I'd like to stay in the DMZ as my realworld^tm obligations make me unreliable for long term ops.

Nope, although I get emails from Ft Creedy on occasion.

6. How did you come to join DHPD?
Well Sharko had disappeared and I was looking for a good time...

I too have been away for years, having only returned last Autumn, hence my low number of posts on this board. Were you literally lying face down for five years or were you wandering Malton like a nomad? It's funny how us old-timers just can't keep away. I've got two RL friends who are both active again. Like you, I've also remarried and had two (more) children since I was last in Malton (although my latest is only four weeks old, so I was technically here first).

I was one of those rookies you mention above. You were head honcho back then, I missed the Sharko era. I remember I corrected the spelling of the DHPD badge graphic on the wiki and didn't know how to upload the replacement, so asked you to do it and, with some irritation, you gave me an email address to send it to and you put it up yourself. I learned how to after that and designed the Dixie Squad page badge and uploaded that myself. Didn't want to bother top brass!

I was on my long-term dirtnap before anything unpleasant happened, so I have no beef with you at all. All I know is it's great to see another old-school DHPDer around the place.
