I have a spy who told me I'd been wall-of-texted and then offered to "change the boundaries of the debate" since that almost certainly meant "urge everyone to seize control of the sources of production" I thought I'd better intervene.
If DT doesn't mind I'm going to reorganise the discussion into five points.
1. Is it ironic that a dysgraphic person should set themselves up as a judge of ignorance?
No, obviously not. I obviously didn't express myself clearly. I think it ironic that someone with dysgraphia should spearhead a movement or (as you explain) a publicity stunt fronting a movement which targets the gross visible symptoms of ignorance without seeking to tackle either the cause or, in the case of dysgraphia, even understand whether the symptom was related at all to the cause he seeks to fight.
This was a minor point however.
2. Maslowy's hierarchy So the Knights seek to present the various human needs as a web with self-actualisation/learning/rationality the keypoint in the centre. That's an interesting perspective. However it seems to me that you acknowledge the need for humans to also experience at least some degree of physical comfort and security if they are also to experience knowledge. In that case the PKs modus operandi still seems to threaten some parts of the web in order to throw attention on the centre point and I remain dubious about the efficacy of that strategy. Surely it would be better to seek to reinforce all parts of the web simultaneously?
3. Killing as a publicity stunt Hmmm... See the PKs are far better known for, well, killing-in-the-pretense-of-educating than they are for, you know, actually educating. Where are the schools? the study sessions? the public readings over the radio? At the moment you publicise, but what? The message you deliver is obscure at best. Even treated as publicity for a social agenda with no specific actualisation it lacks clarity.
4. Debating style You say the words of the ancients resonate. It is true that the great writers had a skill for a pretty turn of phrase but
Let me have men about me that are fat;
Sleek-headed men and such as sleep o' nights:
Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look;
He thinks too much: such men are dangerous.
Trips off the tongue in a pleasing fashion, but that doesn't mean I believe it to be a conclusive debating point.
Parrots repeat words and phrases that have resonance to them. That does not make parrots philosophers.
5. Best use of AP Let's have the discussion!!! Is hunting and killing (let's be generic here since the DHPD used to have a hunting squad for PKers and I was never sure that the AP invested in that was well spent) more AP effective than barricading, healing and reviving?
