I do everything I can to cultivate useful differences of opinion, but, yes, some coherence is perforce necessary to retain a group identity. "Discrimination" has only recently become a dirty word; no slight against Comrade Gabby, but "political correctness" is not a philosophy to which I wish to subscribe. ("Social Marxism" is an alternate term that I have heard which might arguably be more correct.)
