As stated in our wiki our reasons are listed here. If you do not feel like reading I will summarize it. Death is no longer permanent. Words alone often fall on deaf ears. So death is used as a tool. I must say the lack of interest of learning in Malton is quite sad. Unfortunately people take more to drinking than finding solace in books in hard times. I have found that such and outlook can sometimes be cured by constipating ones life while in an undead state.
I must say you are wrong about libraries and schools when in a repaired state books can be found. In museums art can also be found. It should be left there not used to decorate other buildings. That is theft, and an offence that we will educate the thief for. Even the Malton Zoo has a lovely menagerie of animals you should visit it some time if you have never been there.
