If you're a new player looking to get your feet wet in malton by tagging along with a survivor group or if you're a seasoned veteran of Malton and are looking for a change, then the DHPD might be for you. Further information can be found in the Department Handbook to help you decide if DHPD is right for you. First a little background. DHPD is a large survivor group of roughly 50 active members according to the UD Statistics page. We operate in six suburbs dubbed the DMZ (Dunell Military Zone). We have kept officers in most of the resource buildings in this area at one point or another and with a few exceptions we do not 'claim' any of them as ours. Fair play is expected and we do not allow multiple characters in DHPD, but we do have ALT Groups in other areas of Malton. We have positions available for all activity levels and roles in our squads and precincts. We hope you come to enjoy this group as much as we do, many of us have been playing for over two years and stick around because of our friends here. Feel free to ask questions on the board or in PM's. To join: 1. Register for the forum and make an introductory post in the public recruitment section of the forum to say hello (include your name in the title, i.e. FmrPFCBob reporting/wants to join/etc) 2. Once your account is validated your thread will be moved to the internal Introductions board. 3. From here you will be given access to the recruit section, with most areas of the forum available to you. We have an Academy (still in the process of being introduced) for new recruits who want to get stuck in straight away, which also has the added focus of guiding players new to Urban Dead and helping them get much needed XP early on in their career as a survivor. 4. Once you've stuck around for a bit and proven your commitment, you'll be upgraded to officer status which allows access to the squad boards and other operations intel. Help us to suit your needs by answering the following short questionaire ... with the exception of #1 this is all OPTIONAL. New Member Form- 1. What is your profile link? Please place it in your signature. (Not optional)
- 2. How active do you expect to be in-game? On the forum?
A. Very active = online daily or more B. Fairly active = online 3-5 times weekly C. Less active = online 1-2 times weekly
- 3. What role would you like? Healer, combat, etc.
- 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area?
- 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD?
- 6. How did you come to join DHPD?

welcome to the team! too bad you'd rather be the hit and run type instead of the assisnation type, cuz that's what us Delta's do best

oh both are fun. alpha is definately a top-notch crew.
The Deltas pride themselves on hiding in hostile territory and gridding out a search pattern to find our targets, then catch a screenie of us saying the Delta motto before we give them a headshot.

Dunell Hills Police Department - note to get the capital letters in there. can you also please put your profile link in your forum sig? it'll let everyone ad you to there contacts, so that they can revive you easily if need be.
We've placed you in the academy for a start, while we get a chance to get to know you and see how you operate. once you graduate from this in a couple of weeks, you'll be able to move into alpha

Hello, there, myah. My Urbandead name is KoronofHearts....uhm...Marty said to go here to ask to be recruited...? Right, then...
2. A. Very active = online daily or more
3. I' am very good at both. However, I joined Medic class for a reason, so, Front-line Trauma Care and Support Fire would be nice, but, if not, Healer.
4. I am ready to travel great distances...however, I would prefer to be assigned to a guard route along the unstable Caiger, or perhaps one of the forts
5.I began the disbanding survivor group, the Infinite Hope, which heavily assaulted West Becktown during the Second Ruin of Caiger, when the DHPD areas fell under heavy fire from PKers and was overrun by zombies
6. After I disbanded my precious Infinite Hope, Marty Banks extended an offer of help.

You seem to be quite experienced, so I think we may just bypass the Academy (where we help get new players on their feet) for you. You're more than welcomed to join one of our squads, if you're looking to become a medic you might tend towards Dixie, but I think all of them would welcome the additional manpower. nice to have you aboard

1. What is your profile link? www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=7273952. How active do you expect to be in-game? On the forum? Mix between A & B. 3. What role would you like? Combat, anything to do with combat. Hands on type work. 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area? Travel 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD? I was apart of the Army Control Corps for awhile, then I went onto the USAI, was there for a long time and took a 1/2 year or so off, I'm pretty much "out" in that group. 6. How did you come to join DHPD? When I got back in the game, I looked around and saw the DHPD wiki page (Game stats)

Welcome dude! Now omega will get you up and running; but the most important things about the department is our facilities...
Kitchen on the left is stocked with donuts and beer; we ran out of coffee last year so to stay awake we always have a cooler full of colas on hand... Armory is on the right with the standard pistols and shotguns; as well as a few 'other goodies' over there is the police lockup... Upstairs is the barracks, as well as medical, and in the back is Phil's bar... and over there is the War Room, don't expect getting in there without either seniority or a hell of a lot of beer... Thats the tour... welcome to the DHPD Mr. Tyler...
