Since I was last a DHPD officer I have finished my masters, remarried, will have had two children as of this coming Tuesday. I'm an AP teacher in addition to being a father of soon to be two so I don't know how active I will be. For long time members I have NO desire to be political, nor do I wish to serve in any leadership role (I'll be happy to give advice if asked but I'm not expecting to be asked honestly). I'm hoping almost five years is enough time to alleviate any bad taste in either sides mouths. Looking forward to catching up with some of the oldtimers that I knew as rookies, and meeting the new blood. 1. What is your profile link? Please place it in your signature. (Not optional) urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=4748582. How active do you expect to be in-game? Fairly active. On the forum? Less active B. Fairly active = online 3-5 times weekly 3. What role would you like? Healer, combat, etc. Pro-active Dunell hills reclamation. 4. Do you want to travel or stay in the same area? I'd like to stay in the DMZ as my realworld tm obligations make me unreliable for long term ops. 5. Do you have contact with other groups in UD? Nope, although I get emails from Ft Creedy on occasion. 6. How did you come to join DHPD? Well Sharko had disappeared and I was looking for a good time...

I too have been away for years, having only returned last Autumn, hence my low number of posts on this board. Were you literally lying face down for five years or were you wandering Malton like a nomad? It's funny how us old-timers just can't keep away. I've got two RL friends who are both active again. Like you, I've also remarried and had two (more) children since I was last in Malton (although my latest is only four weeks old, so I was technically here first). I was one of those rookies you mention above. You were head honcho back then, I missed the Sharko era. I remember I corrected the spelling of the DHPD badge graphic on the wiki and didn't know how to upload the replacement, so asked you to do it and, with some irritation, you gave me an email address to send it to and you put it up yourself. I learned how to after that and designed the Dixie Squad page badge and uploaded that myself. Didn't want to bother top brass! I was on my long-term dirtnap before anything unpleasant happened, so I have no beef with you at all. All I know is it's great to see another old-school DHPDer around the place. So, from me, welcome back Conn.

Well, we're a much more streamlined organisation these days... much leaner... yes... that's it... I suppose our numbers are falling in line with overall player numbers. Also, it's possibly to do with The Dead's persistence in keeping DH ruined - you've got to be pretty committed to stick with it, rather than just bug out to somewhere like Fort Creedy and Giddings Mall or similar.

Thanks for dropping by Conndraka. It's always nice to see old officers still remember the department!
I respectfully ask that you remain patient to give Brass some time to respond to your request.

Hey Conn.
Right, Brass and Admins have discussed this, and we have decided, Coffee's on the left, donut's on the right, and don't follow any kittens...
You will however have to spend a stint in Omega, not the full term however.
Hope you understand.
Welcome Back Conndraka.
